Can A Parent Be Banned?

Not only was a parent who attended a school board meeting wrongfully blamed for speaking out of turn and subsequently thrown out of the meeting, the parent then received a ban letter from the superintendent! Attending the board meeting and exercising their First Amendment Rights after a student was stabbed to death at school last year, this parent advocated for school safety measures by offering goody bags to the board members and had a coffin in the truck bed of their vehicle to bring awareness of the potential of more student deaths without enhanced/improved security/safety measures. The ban on this parent remains active.
